Adventure Immersion Lab presents Raid The Rockies Multi day staged Adventure Race

Raid the Rockies is coming back Spring/Summer 2028!

More information coming out soon. Teams of 2, 3, or 4. Teams will embark on a multi-day journey filled with thrilling challenges, including mountain biking, trekking, packrafting and rope activities all set against the backdrop of the breathtaking scenery of the Rockies. With no GPS allowed, teams must rely solely on maps and compasses to navigate their way through the rugged terrain, adding an extra element of adventure and skill to the race. Over the course of 3.5 days, participants will push themselves to their limits, racing for 9 to 16 hours each day, all while creating unforgettable memories and forging bonds that will last a lifetime. Spectators are warmly welcomed to join in the excitement, as this adventure race is spectator-friendly, and plenty of activities are available for family and friends to enjoy while cheering on the competitors. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or a first-time racer, prepare to be amazed by the beauty of the Canadian Rockies and the thrill of the ultimate adventure race experience.

Disciplines: Mountain Biking, Trekking, Packrafting, Rope section.

Duration: 3,5 days (9-16h per day for the first 3 days and 1/2 day and award ceremony on the last day).

Participants will be coming back to HQ at the end of every day.

Teams of 2, 3 or 4.

Every participant will have to sign a waiver prior to the event to be allowed to participate in the event!

What is the ARWS?

Our stage race is part of the North American series of the Adventure Racing World Series.
The Adventure Racing World Series was formed in 2001— 24 years in existence.
ARWS is the biggest and longest running Adventure Racing Series.
Each ARWS race is organised by enthusiasts who commit their life and time to the success of their event.
Each race has a different character thanks to the varied locations and each organiser’s ideas and personality.
25 World Championship Qualifiers from all over the world, many presented for 10 years or more.
60+ races in 6 Regional Series: Europe, Oceania, Africa, South America, Asia and North America.
A World Championship is selected from Qualifier events each year.
This year’s ARWC will be the 21st and the Championship has been held on 5 continents.
A comprehensive, international World Ranking system is in place for regional and qualifier races.
Over 3400 teams from more than 40 countries have been included in the ARWS rankings.
Internationally accepted Rules and Regulations system officiated and updated by ARWS
International referees.
ARWS Hall of Fame membership awarded to the heroes of our sport at each Adventure Racing World Championship.
The first International Adventure Racing Conference (IARC) was hosted in 2023 and will continue at the ARWC2025 in Canada.
The first ARWS Youth World Championship will be hosted in 2026 to support the next generation of adventure racers.
