For this Third Edition, Adventure Immersion Lab is thrilled to announce the return of Raid the Rockies, set to take place in the stunning wilderness surrounding Hinton, Alberta from July 5–8, 2026. Now in its third edition, this premier adventure race is stepping onto the global stage of Adventure Racing.
In a major development for the North American adventure racing community, coed teams of four will now compete not only for the cash prize but for a free entry to the ARWS World Championships in France. This marks a significant milestone for Raid the Rockies, offering racers a direct path to the pinnacle of international adventure racing. Raid the Rockies is the first Stage Race to get a spot into the World Champs as a Stage Race Qualifier.
In 2026, only 2 events in North America will be qualifiers for a FREE entry spot in France.
Raid the Rockies 2026 is open to Teams of 2, 3, or 4. Teams will embark on a multi-day journey filled with thrilling challenges, including mountain biking, trekking, packrafting and rope activities all set against the backdrop of the breathtaking scenery of the Rockies. With no GPS allowed, teams must rely solely on maps and compasses to navigate their way through the rugged terrain, adding an extra element of adventure and skill to the race. Over the course of 3.5 days, participants will push themselves to their limits, racing for 9 to 16 hours each day, all while creating unforgettable memories and forging bonds that will last a lifetime. Spectators are warmly welcomed to join in the excitement, as this adventure race is spectator-friendly, and plenty of activities are available for family and friends to enjoy while cheering on the competitors. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or a first-time racer, prepare to be amazed by the beauty of the Canadian Rockies and the thrill of the ultimate adventure race experience.

Duration: 3,5 days (9-16h per day for the first 3 days and 1/2 day and award ceremony on the last day).
Participants will be coming back to HQ at the end of every day.

Price : Early Bird until Nov 30st, 2025 795$ per person.
Regular Price December 1st to March 15th, 2025. 895$ per person.
Late Entry March 16th to May 15th, 2025. 995$/person.
Refund Policy: All entries are transferable to another team for the same year (Admin fee of 50$). Until March 1st 2026 50% refund, after March 1st 2026 No refund possible.

Teams of two and three will continue to be ranked in the ARWS North American Series, ensuring inclusive competition and recognition across all team formats.
Raid the Rockies stage race is part of the North America series. All teams will gain points towards the regional rankings.
Your registration includes a well organized event, live tracking, Sponsor prizes for top of each category, Prize money for the first 3 Coed teams (teams of 3 & 4 eligible only), Draw prizes and Swag bags, Finisher medals, Post race award ceremony on the Wednesday night.
Every participant will have to sign a waiver prior to the event to be allowed to participate in the event!
