Winter Adventure Race 2026

Our Winter Adventure Race will take place at the Kelowna Nordic Ski & Snowshoe Club on Saturday January 24th!

Bring your xc skis (classic or skates), your snowshoes & your sense of adventure and join us for a half day of fun.

Collect as many checkpoints as you can or wish and return to the finish line before the end of the 4h mark. You may choose to stay on skis or snowshoes the entire time or to switch means of transport during the race but you cannot go on snowshoe trails with skis and vice versa.

Some points will only be accessible on skis and some only on snowshoes so if you aim to clear the course or be competitive, you will need both means of transport.

Good navigational skills and strategy planning will make the difference! Bring your compass too! NO GPS Allowed in the true spirit of Adventure Racing. You can race solo or along with your friends!

Location & Date: Kelowna Nordic Ski Club & Telemark Ski Club - January 24th, 2026.

Disciplines: xc skiing (classic or skate), Snowshoeing.

Duration: 4 hours maximum. 9am till 1pm.

Solos only but you are welcome to join other solos and do the event together so bring your little group together.

Price : Early Bird (up to 2 months prior to the event) 60$ per person/per event.

Regular Price (between 2 and 1 month prior to the event) 65$ per person/per event.

Late Entry (between 1 month and 2 days prior to the event) 75$ per person/ per event.

Refund Policy: All entries are Non Refundable but are transferable up to a week prior to the event.

Registration includes: A fun, and well organized event, Swag and Prizes for the podium as well as draw prizes.

Mandatory Equipment list to come: participants will have to bring their own xc skis and snowshoes, a whistle, snacks and water and a safety blanket. 

Every participant will have to sign a waiver prior to the event to be allowed to participate in the event!
